EZYMANAGER 5 CONSUMER PRICE INDEX FIGURES

The Capital Gains Tax file (CGT.dat) is used by EzyManager 5. It contains the quarterly Consumer Price Index (CPI) figures published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). The rates listed in this file are relevant to some provisions in tax and superannuation law.

In September 2012 the ABS changed the index reference base from the previous 1989-90 to 2011-12. As a result all CPI rates (dating back to Mar-1985) have been reset and the previous rates no longer apply. If you require the previous 1989-90 index based rates for historical purposes then this file.
